INTECH Selects LinuxForce Inc.
Philadelphia PA -- LinuxForce Inc has been selected by INTECH to provide service and support for their entire network of Debian GNU/Linux based servers including a 16 node Beowulf Super Computer and their Internet gateway. The LinuxForce emergency response structure (LERS) is a unique aspect of the LinuxForce support and service contract. INTECH is an institutional equity manager offering investment management strategies based on mathematical and statistical principles. INTECH is an affiliate of The Prudential Insurance Company of America and Prudential Investment Corporation. INTECH maintains a research office in Princeton, New Jersey and headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
LinuxForce with their extensive Debian GNU/Linux experience has also agreed to provide INTECH with an in-depth evaluation of their network operations. Christopher Fearnley, LinuxForce Senior Vice President Technology, said "We are gratified that INTECH has recognized our depth of experience and entrusted us with this important responsibility." LinuxForce during the term of the contract will provide regular system improvement and component upgrade recommendations to INTECH.
